Luneth was walking in a plain near Eternia city when Pakki, his loyal hawk of a rare tint, began to peck at his cheek.
"What is it? You hungry?" He said in his monotonic voice to the bird as it responded as though it could understand him. "Seriously, I just fed you thirty minutes ago." Luneth said going in his pocket and taking out a vine wrapped with berries. The hawk screeched with joy and pecked happily at them.
"Hey! Hey! Not so fast! You're gonna make me drop them!" Luneth said laughing. The hawk suddenly stopped eating and turned his head in the opposite direction of his friend/master.
"So... you hear it too?" Luneth said in reply to the hawk's awkward action. "Yeah. It's getting closer." He said drawing his sword from it's sheath and pointed it in the direction the bird was looking. "Come on out! There's no use in trying to hide from my eyes and ears!" He yelled as a lobo about the height up to his knees came out growling at him.
